Avis and Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment extend collaboration for fan engagement efforts
Avis announced an extension of the multi-year partnership deal with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) to remain the official vehicle rental partner to the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League and Toronto FC of the Major League Soccer. As part of the deal, the car rental brand will promote its products and services to millions of sports fans and visitors across venues in Canada, including Scotiabank Arena and BMO Field.
Avis, known for an innovative car rental industry and as one of the world’s top brands for customer loyalty, will feature arena signage, camera-visible signage during games, events, in-market advertising and promotional opportunities, according to a news release posted on company’s website.
“Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment has been a great partner and has allowed us to engage customers, drive rentals and generate new business opportunities,” Beth Kinerk, Senior Vice President, Sales at Avis Budget Group, said in a statement. “We’re excited to renew our agreement with them and build upon our customer engagement efforts in Canada.”
MLSE, a professional sports and real estate company based in Toronto, Canada, is a preeminent leader in creating high-quality sports experiences and hosting entertainment events for fans.

MLSE also oversees venues, including Coca-Cola Coliseum, MasterCard Centre for Hockey Excellence and Toronto Raptors Training Centre. Avis, owned by Avis Budget Group, Inc., has more than 5,000 locations in nearly 170 countries.
