H&M x Moschino collaboration
No announcement in the fashion calendar is more awaited and creates more anticipation in the fashion world than the upcoming H&M designers’ collaboration. So, this year again, the fashion house H&M will continue its collaborations with the famous names from the fashion industry. As it appeared to be clever, profitable and strategic move, this house will continue to satisfy the tastes of its customers by widening its designer’s line. Since the beginning of the collaborations, H&M delivered the wide masses designer pieces, but for cheaper prices. The lines in front of the stores were long and the customers were hoping that they would get to at least one piece of the current designer collaboration. The anticipation among them is even bigger when the next new collaboration is to be announced. And now, it is with the famous brand Moschino.
During the time of an annual dance party, held at the Corona Yacht Club near Coachella festival grounds, the designer Jeremy Scott announced the news. The brand was entering the cheap and chic game with the Swedish retailer H&M. The public saw the announcement on a live call on Instagram between Gigi Hadid and the designer. The confirmation lied into the clothes they were both wearing – new looks from the H&M x Moschino collaboration. Since 2013 when Scott became creative director of Moschino, the fans and the fashion crowd instantly accepted his new designs that were presented. For a very short time, he and the house became as popular as they have never been before. Many expect that Scott will have absolutely no problem into translating his designs and creativity into cheaper and lively versions of his originals. His ability to marvelously interpret the mass icons into fancy designs has made him a master in the process. They are fun, trendy, unordinary, and happy. So, to keep up with the good spirit, Scoot is designing for those with not so deep pockets. His statement after the announcement explained that he has always loved to connect with the people through fashion. This type of collaboration will make him, personally, and the brand closer to the fans as they have never been before. The collection will include womenswear, menswear, and accessories. Speaking of the pieces from the line, what is known so far is that there will be a silver parka dress with sequins. Denim will be maintained as part of the collection but in some new, fresh way. Jackets and puffers will come into cropped forms or doubled their size. The sportswear will have an evening vibe.
Announced to launch on November 8th, 2018, this collaboration is expected to cause long lines of excited fashion lovers and fans that will wait and try to get their hands on some of the pieces of this iconic collaboration.
